Emergency Department

Sharon Hospital's Emergency department is staffed by emergency medicine specialists who provide a full spectrum of emergency and trauma care 24 hours a day. The Express Treatment Center provides rapid evaluation and treatment of minor illnesses and injuries.

The emergency medicine specialists at Sharon Hospital are actively engaged in EMS activities and education. These specialists are involved in a myriad of activities such as serving on school boards and ambulance boards as well as being honored by the CDC Epidemic Intelligence Service and one physician, as CT Emergency Physician of theYear.
